Like the essay. love the radio, which I listening to now. It's interesting to finally hear Marx being read out loud - it's true that many internalize "profit is bad" ... I grew up seeing my parents run a small rental business, so I Knew that business was OK.. in a visceral way, which has protected me from a lot of brainwashing. it was in france, which is saturated with anti-capitalist rhetoric and the constant encouragement to feel like a victim of... fill the gap - your boss, big business, the USA.. and the French are miserable as a result.
Now living in Australia which has high taxes, but business is more respected and debate is more open-ended. hence more prosperity and happiness.
Im now in the army , and find myself wondering what I provide as value if i'm not deployed somewhere fighting for freedom..(my battalion is not deployed nxt year, except possibly as reinforcement for another battalion)
well i guess I'm a reserve in case of a sudden deployment , like east timor. I'm insurance for the aussie people.

Keep up the good work !
